difficulty coping with the loss of a pet,
struggling with a pre-euthanasia decision or are
simply
interested in finding out more about the subject
of pet loss and human emotion, caring volunteers
from the
Halton/Peel Pet Loss Support
Group
are available to help you.
The tasks of
grief and mourning can be difficult. Among the
tasks involved, we are required to journey
from an active relationship of the present to a
comforting relationship of memory.
Not an easy journey to make ..... and harder yet
to make it alone.

ABOUT US
May 1,2000 marks one year since our group was
founded.
We have had 14 members join our group in the past
year.
Over the past 12 months we have received over 35 telephone
calls.
(30 calls were seeking help for pet loss)
We have received more than 40 e-mails seeking
support.
The Toronto Star kindly wrote an article
about our group Oct 3/99
Our appearance on the Erin Davis Show (Rogers
Cable) was on Mar 29/00
We have grown significantly in our first year and
we look forward to reaching even
more people needing pet loss support in our second
year.
We are non-profit group and rely on donations and
memberships.
Memberships can be purchased for a nominal fee of
$20 per year which includes 3 newsletters yearly.
A copy of our brochure, one laminated bookmark and
one card stock bookmark.
A membership is not
required in order to obtain telephone or e-mail
support.
